The John M. Olin School of Business

The John M. Olin School of Business is the academic school of the Washington University. It is located within the territory of the Danforth Campus. The school includes Simon Hall and the Charles F. Knight Executive Education Center.

This school was established in 1971 and was named in honor of the entrepreneur John M. Olin. Nowadays, the school is considered to be one of the most leading schools in business thanks to its great achievements and awards. The following degrees one is able to earn within the curriculum of the John M. Olin School of Business: MBA, BSBA, Masters in Accounting, MS in Finance, PhD degrees, Executive MBA degree. In corporation with Fudan University, an Executive MBA program was presented in 2002.

All the students have the right to select everything they want form the electives of the Washington University; those are College of Arts and Sciences, Medical School, School of Social Work, Engineering School, and Law School. The network of the active alumni within the school is just great; it numbers about 13,000.

The process of admission to school is rather complicated; one has to pass four rounds of testing, as this school is considered to be very selective. The statistic shows that the school admits only 30 per cent of all the applicants.
